Open to all CLYC members, particularly any of our new joiners, who are keen to get out on the water but perhaps don’t have access to a boat to do so.
Several members of CLYC have donated their boats and skippering time for the day to take members out on the water for an Experience Day, sailing across the Solent to Cowes and back again. When the boats reach Cowes, the plan is to head to our affiliate club, Royal London Yacht Club, for the contingent to enjoy a wonderful spot of lunch before they head back across the boats’ home ports.
There is no cost to this day, other than to settle your lunch bill and bring any drinks and snacks you may wish to have on the boat. Once you sign up, we will be able to work out which boat will be best placed for you to get to in order to take part.
