This year’s Fitting Out Dinner will be held at the spectacular East India Club in London!

CLYC will have use of beautiful rooms at the private member’s club in the heart of London’s clubland. The exact origins of the club are not distinct, with several versions of the founding in existence, though it was founded around the middle of the 19th Century and thought originally to have members who were ‘the servants of the East India Company and Commissioned Officers of Her Majesty’s Army and Navy’. Over the course of the 20th Century the Club has very happily amalgamated with a further four clubs, to be the East India Club known today.

Our speaker for the evening will be the incredible sailor, Pip Hare, who will no doubt regale us with many tales of her pursuits at sea – not least the hair raising adventures of the Vendée Globe races. We are all in for a captivating evening with an excellent speaker.

Tickets will be £140.00 per head including a champagne reception, three course meal with wines, port, coffees, teas and club mints.

Kiln Smoked Salmon Mousse with Green Leaves, Sour Cream and Chives and Garlic Crostini [S]

Roast Rib of Aberdeen-Hereford Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Gravy, and Creamed Horseradish served with Potato and a Selection of Seasonal Vegetables [B]

DESSERT

Pear and Almond Tart with a Grand Marnier Anglaise [P]
