We are squeezing in another CLYC hosted event on the water before the sailing season draws to a close, and to hopefully take advantage of the lovely September weather that will be around!
The cruise is open for all members whether motor or sail, or even by car if you would like to join for the dinners! The plan for the weekend will be:-
Thursday evening/Friday morning – for those who book tickets for the Commodore’s Supper at RYS on the Thursday evening, there will be a few boats who will be starting from the RYS haven.
Friday – arrival at Ocean Village Marina, Southampton. Dinner will be at Banana Wharf at 19:00. Please confirm your meal selections to the Club Secretary no later than Thursday 4th September 2025. The menu can be found here: Friday Menu.
Saturday – voyage over to Southsea Marina, Portsmouth. There is a slight wiggle to get into Southsea Marina, but Rear Commodore John Cavanagh has kindly produced the following video showing the approach https://youtu.be/cB5mIfoskdw . The video is filmed from John’s boat which is 14m LOA with a 2.1m draft. Dinner on Saturday will be at Bombay Bay in Southsea, please confirm your menu selections ahead of time so that we may coordinate with the restaurant. The menu can be found here: Saturday Menu
Sunday – departure for home ports. Please note, that Langstone Harbour charge harbour dues in 24 hour periods, as opposed to calendar days, so please be aware of your timings when thinking about your departure from Southsea Marina on the Sunday.
There will be an admin charge of £10.00 per boat if you are a member of CLYC or an affiliated club, £25.00 per boat for other clubs.
