Our affiliated club, Royal London Yacht Club, have taken the decision to relaunch the iconic Cowes Classics Regatta in a new format for 2025. The event will now take place over a long weekend as opposed to a week, and will run from Friday 30th May – Monday 2nd June, with racing taking place each day! There will also be several shoreside events taking place across the weekend to compliment the racing, and provide activities for spectators when they are not watching the racing from Royal London Yacht Club’s balconies. Sunday 1st June is the appointed ‘Classics Day’ and the organisers are working to fill the Cowes Parade with an array of classic cars and yachts.
In addition to the racing and shoreside events, several exciting evening socials have been organised over the weekend making use of some of the amazing venues Cowes has to offer, though the Prize giving will of course take place at the Royal London Yacht Club.
